Nos Mains Unies and the Farm School: Building a Future for Youth Together.
The Edimar Princesse Grace Center had the immense joy of welcoming, for over two weeks, the French association Nos Mains Unies, made up of six young people aged 23 to 26. Touched and inspired by the vision of the Farm-School, these volunteers decided to go beyond simple moral support: they chose to invest themselves directly, with their hearts, their energy, and their skills.
Captivated by the mission of the Farm-School, which consists of offering young people from the streets training in agro-pastoral work, in order to enable their true social and professional reintegration, these young volunteers made a significant contribution. Indeed, their action took two essential forms:
- Financial support, which allowed the progress of the work;
- Physical and intellectual commitment, realized through their active participation in the construction of the pigsty at the Farm-School.
More Than a Worksite: An Unforgettable Human Encounter
But their involvement went far beyond the construction site. By living for two and a half weeks alongside the young beneficiaries, they shared their daily lives, their meals, their joys, and their challenges. These moments of shared life gave rise to rich intercultural exchanges, strengthening the human bond at the heart of the Farm-School project.
Through their commitment, the members of Nos Mains Unies demonstrated that sincere and concrete solidarity knows no borders. Their stay at the Edimar Princesse Grace Center will remain engraved as a vibrant testimony of fraternity and hope for the young people we accompany every day.
The Edimar Princesse Grace Center expresses its deep gratitude to them for this valuable contribution. Their gesture is not limited to material construction: they built bridges of trust, sharing, and hope, opening new horizons for our youth.
