A Mobilization in Italy
From May 2 to 11, 2025, Mrs. Mireille YOGA, Executive Director, and Mrs. Charlotte ABANG, Secretary, carried out with renewed determination a large-scale awareness and fundraising campaign in support of children in vulnerable situations, particularly those who live and sleep on the streets.
This campaign was conducted under the auspices of the NGO AVSI in several cities in Italy, including Cesena, Verona, Lugo, Bologna, Novate Milanese, Spinea, Arcore, etc. These localities resonated to the rhythm of the TENDE campaign through:
- Personal meetings with donors;
- Conferences;
- And various charitable events.
So many privileged moments that made it possible to weave strong bonds and mobilize communities around our cause.
A testimony of love stronger than pain
Among the many acts of solidarity, the story of one woman will remain engraved in memories. About forty years old and suffering from terminal cancer, she insisted, despite her suffering, on participating in the fundraising. Her donation, imbued with courage and love, embodies the very spirit of the TENDE campaign: giving, even in fragility, to offer a better future to the smallest and most vulnerable.

Beyond the numbers, this campaign was an opportunity to make heard the voices and stories of the children we support, but also to strengthen our international solidarity network.
